Princeton, NJ – December 11, 2024 – Princeton FC proudly hosted an informative and engaging College Soccer Education Night on December 11, 2024, led by Shamus Matthews, Head of College Recruitment at the club. The evening brought together an incredible lineup of speakers, featuring some of the most respected names in the college soccer world, to educate and inspire players and their families.

- Jim Barlow, Head Coach of Princeton University Men’s Soccer, who shared invaluable insights from his 28-season coaching career.
- Gina Lewandowski, Associate Head Coach of Lehigh University Women’s Soccer and former professional player, who provided expert advice on finding the right college fit and transitioning to collegiate soccer.
- Charlie Inverso, former Head Coach of Rider University Men’s Soccer (3 MAAC Titles & 3 NCAA Tournament Appearances) and five-time national champion at Mercer County College, who dispelled recruitment myths and emphasized the benefits of exploring different levels of college soccer.
- Dianna Constable, Assistant Athletic Director at Union College of Union County, NJ, who offered critical guidance on financial planning, FAFSA, and navigating college admissions.
The evening was filled with thought-provoking discussions on recruitment, student-athlete priorities, the importance of aligning personal goals with program culture, and breaking down myths surrounding college soccer.
