Craig Birtwistle over 20 years of soccer coaching experience at multiple levels, in both England and America.
Coach Craig was previously Academy Director at Liverpool FC International Academy, Technical Director for FC Copa and Zone One Director for MLS Next Club FC Delco in Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to America Craig worked with Birmingham City FC (Despite being an Aston Villa fan 😁)He has been involved in High School, Club, and Community programs focusing on player and coach development for many years.
Coach Craig's soccer education began in the Birmingham England. Craig's passions are his family, Aston Villa FC and Coach and player education.
Coach Craig holds the following Coaching Licenses and Certificates:
United States Soccer Federation 'A' License (2022); also B, C, D Licenses and E Certificate
UEFA Football Association 'B' License (2006)
United States Soccer Federation Goalkeeper License Level 3 also Level 2 and 1
United Soccer Coaches (former NSCAA) Premier Diploma (2011); also USC Advanced National and National Diplomas
United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma (2012)
English FA Level 2; also Level 1
Physical Education Bachelors Degree (2004)
Over the years Craig has lead teams to top soccer tournaments such as Disney Showcase (Orlando, FL), Jefferson Cup (VA), WAGS (VA) Potomac Memorial (Germantown, MD), and others. Teams coached by Craig have won State and Regional competitions finished on top in numerous tournaments and league flights.
Coach Craig lives with his wife and three kids in Hazlet, NJ.
