PFC Flamengo wins the NJYS Presidents Cup

On November 20th PFC Flamengo 2012 B team became the youngest-ever PFC team to win the State Cup.

The run to the final started on October 1st. Flamengo comfortably won v Monmouth United 2012 B Blue with a score of 8:1.
In the second round, the boys defeated Deptford Premier B 2012. The final score again was 8:1.
In the quarter-final in one of their best games of the season, Flamengo won v PSA Monmouth 5:1.
The semifinal took place on November 19 at Marlboro Middle School. The opponent Voorhees Strikers. Wilmer Luzuriaga scored the only goal of the game and the boys booked their place in the final the next day.
The final v Parsippany Academy 2012 B Blue was played at 9 am in frigid temperatures. The Flamengo boys dominated their opponent for the majority of the game. Two goals from Felipe Martins - one from a free kick and long-range effort sealed the victory. 2:0 the final score and minutes later the boys lifted the cup.
