2020 Team Youth Indoor Soccer League at Princeton University

Open to Youth Teams in Any Competitive Level

Princeton FC is pleased to present our Third Annual 8v8 (7 field players and a Goalkeeper) Developmental Indoor League this Winter. Our objective is to provide the best conditions for players to develop their technical skills, improve their tactical decision-making and have a lot of fun in the process. Our goal is to offer the best 8v8 competitive and developmental environment in the area. Our league will exclusively use the state of the art Indoor Stadium at Princeton University.

Indoor competition teaches all of the key building blocks in the game -  first touch receiving, passing, dribbling and shooting and an overall higher number of touches on the ball. The smaller format also presents frequent 1 v 1, 2 v 1 and 2 v 2 situations. Frequent change of possession teaches the players about the situations in transition, a key element in the development process. All players on the field have to think about attacking and defending in this constantly changing game environment. There are more shots in the indoor league format than any other game as well as lots of individual possession. In our League we encourage all players to try new skills without fear of failure and pressure for results.

Our Indoor league will offer a dynamic, creative, challenging and fun atmosphere where players will continue to learn the beautiful game. It will provide the much needed Winter opportunity for all players to improve their game condition and work on their technical skills and tactical knowledge.
